Legislative Update – Day 17: February 8, 2017

Aside from the discussion on the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument Resolution in the Senate, floor time was quiet today. Committees were where the action was with bills having the state pay for presidential primaries advancing while a publicly supported “Tampon Tax” bill receiving an unceremonious death.
We also get you prepped for tomorrow. Committees will be hearing about school start times, end of life options, suing pornographers, and retooling UTA.
