Welcome to the UPC Show with Curtis Haring, Alex Cragun, and Dylan McDonnell!

This week we recap the formal election results by welcoming Mayor-Elect Jackie Biskupski, speculating on Mayor Becker’s loss, and why the transit tax passed in places like Davis County, but Not Salt Lake. We also wonder why UTA’s board doesn’t seem to be getting the message that the public really doesn’t like them taking trips to foreign nations, and close the first half by (not) being shocked and amazed that Salt Lake County Mayor, Ben McAdams, was cleared of all charges levied against him by disgraced former lawmaker Justin Miller.

In the second half of the show we praise both Governor Herbert for his realistic stance on Syrian refugees and House Minority Leader Brian King’s blunt insult towards House GOP members who were less than welcoming. We close out by wondering if the judge in Carbon County who separated a family simply because a child’s foster parents were gay should stay on the bench.
