Welcome to the UPC Show!
This week Curtis is joined by UPC editor Michael Iverson and UPC writer Alex Cragun.
We start the show by opening up a wound for Alex, as we discuss how Democrats went from 15 seats in the House to 12 and speculate on possible reasons for such a dramatic switch.
The majority of the show, however, is dedicated to the interim session that took place this past week. Should the Utah legislative session be expanded? Is clean air a good thing? How about campaign finance? These topics are discussed out of the several that took place during the last interim prior to the start of the 2015 legislative session.
We end the show with an interesting discussion that was started by Representative Marc Roberts (Republican – Santaquin) to potentially shut of the water and power to the NSA Data Center in Bluffdale. The gang takes off their tinfoil hats to discuss the possible ramifications of such a proposal.
Today’s closing song: Party in the CIA – “Weird Al” Yankovic
